Thank you for banking with ChoiceOne Bank. We are making security upgrades to all ChoiceOne Debit Cards. You will need to reset your Debit Card PIN starting on Monday, August 26.

To Reset Your Debit Card PIN on August 26:

  • Call 800.631.3197 - Starting August 26
  • Enter your current Debit Card number
  • Enter the last 4 digits of your Social Security number or the last 4 digits of the Tax ID for Business Debit Cards
  • Enter your 3 Digit Security Code (on back of card)
  • Reset your PIN (in most cases you can use the same PIN)

Can I keep using my same debit card?

Yes. Everything about your ChoiceOne Debit Card will remain the same – except you must reset your Debit Card PIN starting on, but not before, August 26.

  • Same Debit Card Number
  • Same Physical Card
  • Same Expiration Date
  • Same 3 Digit Security Code
  • Recurring payments from your Debit Card will continue as normal

These changes allow ChoiceOne to offer these enhanced security features:

  • Real-time fraud alerts
  • More control of your ChoiceOne Debit Card within our mobile app and online banking
  • Enhanced monitoring to protect you from debit card fraud

What happens if I forget to reset my PIN?

If you do not reset your PIN on or after August 26, you can still use your Debit Card by using your signature (select “credit” at checkout). You will need to reset your PIN, starting on August 26, before you can access an ATM.

When must I reset my PIN?

Starting on August 26 you must reset your PIN to use your Debit Card at ATMs or to make a purchase using your PIN number.
